Things I did not do today:
* Anything with the car - Really didn't want to do anything in the rain today. It's going to rain tomorrow, but I am prepared for this and will just deal with it.

Things I have done today:
* Clean the litter box
* Wash the sheets (mmmm... clean, crisp sheets tonight)
* Did some laundry
* Vacuumed the entire apartment (not really that big of a thing really)
* Baked a potato
* Took out the trash
* Emptied the dishwasher and started loading it again

So, comparing the lists, I see it weighted HEAVILY in favor of me getting things done. So why do I feel slightly less than accomplished?

Wow, when I was hunting for an apartment in March I totally did not expect to be doing so again an July / August.

So now I'm hunting. I'm looking for a place with Equity Apartments since that's who I'm with right now and can't really afford to break my lease. If I transfer to one of their units up there I won't have to. I am also looking for a place that takes dogs. And in my price range (I know. I'm not asking much here.)This would be the search I am using with the criteria of Studio or 1 bd, dogs and a max price of $700 (the places I'm looking are a little over that but that's a good ballpark to stay in right now).

The choice that seemed perfect on paper was in Kent. This has been crossed off the list. I've been told that I will not be allowed to live there. And I'm happy to go with that. It makes me feel all cozy and protected.

I was also told that the place in Renton has police go out there a lot, but mostly for noise. And here's where I need the help now. I don't know how soon I'm going to be able to get up there to look at things, and I know nothing about the others on the list. The one in Lynnwood is looking the best right now.

And another thing I have to keep reminding myself is that it's only going to be for a year at most, then I can find something I like better if I need to.
